For factions in other games named Spain, see Spain. Spain is a faction in Medieval II: Total War, unlocked at start of campaign. Any man who is born on the Iberian Peninsula would call himself a "Spaniard," so when King Alfonso VIdeclared himself the "Emperor of all Spain" three years ago, it was truly a bold claim. After all, not since the time of the Western Roman Empire has one noble court
Simon Love Sep 20, 2016 @ 3:09am. I have found Very Hard campaign difficulty is easier and faster to win, because AI factions keep smaller garrisons in Very Hard campaign difficulty (they need less to keep their people happy). Thus the player can avoid enemy armies and attack their economic base, which makes victory fast and easy.
Turks as the hardest faction? In vanilla? Err, are you serious? ^ Access to the de facto Godmode units of MTW2 (horse archers), superb late units (JHI, JA, JM), the same broken Jihad that the other muslim factions get, great financial settlements etc. Really, in vanilla you need ~5 turns or so to crush the Byzantines and shore up everything north of Antioch thanks to the broken Jihad.
Egypt: Gameplay Information. Egypt stands on the brink of sparking off Total War with its lust for the Holy Lands. It relies on it’s depth and quality of cavalry types for victory, early on calling on the average Desert Cavalry for skirmishing duty, and the light Arab Cavalry to finish them off. Mamluk Archers are an elite horse archer unit
Early game Scotland is weaker than other west European factions so it would probably be wise to have a decent understanding of the game before you start as them. Once you feel like you know how the game works start your first serious game as Scotland. #4. Gunther von Rittersburg Dec 29, 2015 @ 11:27am.
The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his-George Patton. You can get a lot more with a kind word and a gun than with a kind word alone-Al Capone. Moral indignation is jealousy with a halo-H.G. Wells. Catch a man a fish, and you can sell it to him.
xXE8. Best Factions in Medieval II: Total War (All Ranked) 1. England. England was the first faction that I ever picked in this game when I first set myself on a quest to finish 2. Holy Roman Empire. I mean, if you’re really looking for the most well-rounded faction in terms of economy, 3. Spain.
This mod make : portugal France England Denmark Milan Sicily playable If you want to play other factions from vanilla. just exchange the factions or add them directly with de descr-strat and edescr-win-conditions
Hello, I just got the stainless steel downloaded, checked out a few units, but haven't decided of which faction I should play, i played the original m2tw for 200+ hrs and played as Milan and England. I love the combo of heavy infrantry unit with long range missle, but i don't want the cavlary unit to be too weak, either, since it's crucial in this game. So if u would give me a suggestion in
France would be a good faction for what youre looking for. Last edited by riuk881; April 17, 2015 at 02:36 PM . Reason: spelling. It's not a question of where it grips it. It's a simple questions of weight ratios; a five ounce bird could not carry a one pound coconut. April 17, 2015, 03:58 PM #3. teks.
thanks for the help i will stick to the original campaigns of total war 2,is there a specific play order as i got all the dlcs ie crusades campaign, teutonic, britannia, americas. Play them as you wish. Britannia, imo, is the least exciting. Crusades is the hardest. Teutonic is meh, and Americas is meh. Have fun!
Scotland rely on their castles for their decent units, as all the Highland units can be recruited from there. The most basic unit the Scots can recruit are the Highland rabble- this motley crew cost 10 florins more than your basic peasant, and have less attack and defence. Their saving grace, however, is the moral- 3 as opposed to 1.
